Terms of Service

Last updated: April 8, 2026

Beta notice: LinkDecoder is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. The service is provided without uptime guarantees during this period. Please do not rely on it as the sole tool for production-critical link infrastructure.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using LinkDecoder (“Service”) you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms are between you and LinkDecoder (“we,” “us,” “our”).

2. Beta service

LinkDecoder is currently offered as a beta service. This means:

  • Features are subject to change at any time without notice.
  • The Service may experience downtime, slow responses, or data inconsistencies.
  • We make no service-level commitments during the beta period.
  • We may rate limit, suspend, or remove access at any time to protect Service stability.
  • Pricing and plan limits may change before general availability.

Once we exit beta, we will publish updated Terms and notify users by email or in-app notice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 16 years old to use LinkDecoder.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Account deletion is permanent and cascades through all associated data — monitors, campaigns, link templates, and test history.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use LinkDecoder to:

  • Test or monitor URLs that you do not own or are not authorized to analyze. The Service is intended for testing your own links and links you have a legitimate reason to inspect.
  • Attempt to access internal, private, or non-public network resources through the Service. Our redirect tracer enforces SSRF guards but you must not deliberately attempt to bypass them.
  • Run scraping, crawling, or scanning operations against third parties. LinkDecoder is not a general-purpose web scraper.
  • Submit URLs that contain malware, child exploitation material, or content that infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm any individual or organization.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or build a competing service on top of our infrastructure.
  • Circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or other technical restrictions.
  • Submit URLs containing unencrypted personal data, credentials, or other sensitive information of third parties without their consent.

We may suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these rules without notice or refund.

5. Plans and billing

During the beta, all plans are free or invitation-based. When paid plans launch:

  • Plan limits apply per the pricing page in effect at the time of subscription.
  • You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Email us if you have a problem.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to the URLs, campaign data, and other content you submit to LinkDecoder (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely as necessary to operate the Service for you.

We do not claim ownership of Your Content, do not share it with advertisers, and do not use it to train AI models — see the Privacy Policy for details.

7. AI and accuracy disclaimer

LinkDecoder analyzes redirect chains, HTTP responses, page content, and various ad-platform configuration files (AASA, Android App Links, Open Graph metadata, analytics tag patterns) to produce health scores and recommendations. These results are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that:

  • Detected attribution platforms, analytics tags, or deep link configurations are exhaustive or always correct.
  • Health scores reflect actual click-through behavior, ad-platform compliance, or deliverability.
  • The Service will catch every broken link, expired certificate, or stripped tracking parameter.
  • The absence of warnings means a link is fit for any particular campaign or purpose.

You are responsible for independently verifying any LinkDecoder finding before relying on it for production campaigns or business decisions. The Service is a diagnostic aid, not a guarantee.

8. Service availability

We make a good-faith effort to keep LinkDecoder operational, but during the beta we offer no uptime guarantee. Scheduled monitor checks may be delayed, missed, or duplicated due to upstream provider issues, our own deploys, or rate-limit pressure.

For business-critical link infrastructure, do not rely solely on LinkDecoder.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • LinkDecoder is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  • We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost ad spend, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LinkDecoder, its operators, and its service providers harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by a third party arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, for security or operational reasons, or in connection with the discontinuation of the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification) survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect (except where immediate changes are required for security or legal reasons). Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
